The Tenor Gala

The Tenor Gala

Since its popularization during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, the tenor voice has inspired many composers to write the most beautiful and memorable pages of the operatic repertoire, combining in them subtlety and virtuosity, heroism and pathos are masterly blended in the arias written for this type of voice, which according to the opinion of many teachers and experts, is one of the most difficult to form, train and maintain.

It is for this reason that an only tenors gala is always an event of great pomp and quality. On this occasion, the voices of Alain Damas, Albert Montserrat, Ramón Criado Mateos, Fabio Armiliato and Vicente Ombuena join together to perform, together with the Symphonic Orchestra of Radio Televisión Española and under the conducting of the renowned conductor Miguel Ángel Gómez Martínez, a concert which promises to be one of the most memorable this season.

Alain Damas, with his exquisite musicality and prodigious voice, will be in charge of interpreting two of his favorite pieces: Je crois entendre encore from Les Pêcheurs de Perles by Georges Bizet; and the romanza Por el humo se sabe dónde está el fuego from the Zarzuela Doña Francisquita by Amadeo Vives. The occasion of such an important concert is the collection of funds for the NGO Molinete, reazon that exalts even more the importance of this event.

The concert will take place this Friday, September 22 at 8 pm, at the Teatro Mira, Pozuelo de Alarcón.

An event that reunites Alain Damas with the voices of the best tenors of 3 countries: Spain, Italy & Venezuela, together with Orquesta de RTVE conducted by Miguel Ángel Gómez Martínez; on benefit of the foundation Molinete.
